My Lord,

I have the honour to inform Your Lordship

that I have recently received an application from the Asiatic Petroleum Company (South China), Limited, the lessees of

Marine Lot No. 277 and Merine Lot No. 281, for an extension of

these lcts as shom coloured blue and yellow and lettered B and

C respectively on accompanying plan.

The conditions on which it is proposed

that these extensions should be granted are as follows:-

RIGHT HONOURABLE

Extension of Marine Lot No. 277 (B) coloured blue.

(a). The lessees to surrender the existing Crown Laass of

Marine Lot 277 and the Crown Lease of Pier No. 13

opposite same when called upon to do so by the Land

Officer.

(b). The lessees to be granted a new Crow Lease of

Marine Lot 277 including the area coloured blus

containing an area of about 107,833 square feet; the

new Crow Lease to be for the same term and commence |

from the same date as the existing Lease, viz., 999 years, commencing from 24th February, 1896, and to be subject to all the clauses and conditions con-

-tained in the old Crow Lesse together with the

following.

(c). The lessees to pay into the Colonial Treasury with in 14 days of the date of a letter from the Director of Public Works stating that the area is at their
